The Initial Consultation

During the preparatory consultation, we discuss the treatment process and address any preliminary questions you may have. This includes inquiries about donor preferences, procedures, lifestyle, and any previous pregnancies. We outline the next steps and provide you with the opportunity to get answers to all your questions. It is often helpful to create a list of questions before the initial consultation so that you feel well-prepared for the treatment. Of course, you can also reach out to us after the conversation (preferably via email), and we are happy to assist you.

Before the IVF consultation, we kindly ask you to send us your AMH and TSH test results along with the written report of an AFC count (scan for follicle reserve).

The discussion will focus on your wishes and expectations from us, and we will gather the necessary information to tailor the treatment to your specific needs.

We will also talk about the examinations we recommend you undergo before the treatment begins, as well as the treatment process itself. Additionally, we will cover what you can do to increase your chances of pregnancy.

Course of the Conversation

You can ask any questions that come to mind regarding this. It is important for us that you feel well cared for and prepared.

Additionally, we will discuss any sperm donor preferences you may have if you need one:

First and foremost, should it be an ID-release or a no ID-release donor? What criteria are crucial for you?

We will also discuss the same considerations if an egg donation is required.

Good to know

We will address your considerations and advise you so that you can make a decision that is right for you.

Feel free to bring a friend or family member to the conversation; a second pair of ears can be very helpful. We are here to support you during the conversation and beyond, especially if you haven’t shared your thoughts and feelings with those around you yet.

The conversation can take place here at the clinic or via phone/Teams.

Age Limit: In Denmark, it is only legal to offer fertility treatment to women aged 18 to 45 (both inclusive).
