More information

Donor Categories

You decide which donor category you would like to use—either an ID release donation or a NO ID release donation.

You will speak with the doctor or the egg donation coordinator, and together you will clarify your needs so that we can plan the treatment together. It is not always easy to make a decision regarding the donor category.

Regardless of whether you choose an ID release or a NO ID release donation, the donor remains anonymous for the first 18 years of your child’s life.

NO ID release Egg Donation

It is never possible to learn the identity of the donor if you have chosen a NO ID release egg donor.

Your child will also not be able to contact the donor once they reach adulthood.

Basic information such as eye color, hair color, height, blood type, and occupation will be available.

ID release Egg donor

An ID release egg donor has granted permission for your child to contact the clinic once they reach the age of 18.

The clinic will then attempt to facilitate contact between the child and the egg donor. We will provide the name, date of birth, email address, and address that the egg donor provided at the time of donation if immediate contact cannot be established.
